Instant Stories: Wim Wenders’ Polaroids

On Friday July 6th, from 7pm C/O Berlin is celebrating the big opening of the exhibition Instant Stories: Wim Wenders’ Polaroids. The exhibition, realized in cooperation with the Wim Wenders Stiftung and The Photographers’ Gallery in London, presents a selection of approximately 240 polaroids from the late 1960s to the early 1980s, when polaroids were Wim Wenders’ preferred photographic medium.

C/O Berlin, Hardenbergstraße 22-24, 10623 Berlin. The exhibitions will continue until September 23rd, 2018. Opening hours are 7/7 from 11am to 8pm.

An Artist Talk with Wim Wenders will be held (in German language) as part of the exhibition’s side-program on Sunday July 8th at 12 pm (moderated by Andrea Thilo), followed by a screening at Delphi Filmpalast of Alice in the Cities (1974) in which the main character Phillip Winter wanders through America with a SX-70 Polaroid camera. Additionally the Yorck Kinogruppe will be organizing a selected Wim Wenders film program through July and August at Delphi LUX. Both are organized in cooperation with the Wim Wenders Stiftung.
