For the eleventh time, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW announces the Wim Wenders Grant, as always in cooperation with the Wim Wenders Foundation.
A selection committee chaired by Wim Wenders, which includes Mirko Derpmann (Creative Director Scholz & Friends), Hella Wenders (Co-Managing Director of the Wim Wenders Foundation) and Walid Nakschbandi (Managing Director of the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW) for the first time, will decide on the applications and the awarding of the grants in a two-stage process.
The prestigious grant has been awarded annually since 2014 and supports young filmmakers from North Rhine-Westphalia as well as from all over Germany who want to tell stories with innovative visual language and new technical means. Applications can be submitted to the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW by Thursday, 5 September at the latest.
