From September 2022 to December 2023, students from six schools in Düsseldorf and Berlin will embark on a cinematic journey through European cinema under the guidance of director Wim Wenders, and at the same time will be inspired to create their own cinematic works. “A European School of Seeing,” the title of the film education project organized by the Wim Wenders Foundation with financial support from the Art Mentor Foundation (Lucerne), the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung and the Paul and Mia Herzog Foundation (Düsseldorf), was officially launched on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Black Box Cinema in the Filmmuseum Düsseldorf in the presence of the filmmaker and 70 students from the Wim Wenders High School.
