“In the Course of Time” Retrospective at BlackBox Düsseldorf

(Filmmuseum Düsseldorf, Germany)

From May to July the FILMMUSEUM DÜSSELDORF is going to show a broad film retrospective in their own cinema BLACKBOX, that deals thematically with the three following topics: Wenders’ America films, the films from the early 70ies and his documentaries. In addition to introductions and discussions the retro is accompanied by an extensive educational program that, for the first time, prepares Wim Wenders’ films didactically for workshops and schools. In august the program is supported by the Filmkunstkinos Düsseldorf with 5 of Wenders’ most important films.

The retrospective will open with the screening of the film ALICE IN THE CITIES, that has been digitally restored by the WIM WENDERS STIFTUNG in 2014. The opening takes place in the presence of Wim Wenders on Sunday April 19 at 12pm in the cinema BLACKBOX next to the FILMMUSEUM DÜSSELDORF.
